Derbyshire key workers asked for their views on bus services during coronavirus outbreak
By Dom Stevens -
NHS staff and other key workers are being asked by Derbyshire County Council how changes to bus services are affecting how they get to work.
The council has published a survey on their website for key workers to complete. They want to find out what effects the changes are having and whether passengers are able to practice social distancing while travelling.
Councillor Simon Spencer, Derbyshire County Council Cabinet Member for Highways, Transport and Infrastructure said: “I know key workers are very busy. They’re doing a fantastic job under a lot of strain. If we can help with transport issues, we will.”
“So I’d like to encourage as many of these workers as possible to complete this short survey so we can get a picture of what the situation is like, identify any areas we can get involved with and ease any problems that there might be.”
